John Forde

John Forde is an experienced public health specialist, who has worked in a variety of senior public health leadership roles in the NHS, local government and internationally.
He has led several public health programmes in those settings including improvements in maternal child health, integrated disease surveillance and response and systems strengthening for global health security in low to middle income countries e.g. Pakistan and Ethiopia.
His experience overseas working with communities has led to a lifelong commitment to supporting community led approaches to improving health. John is a Fellow of the UK Faculty of Public Health and has been registered as a public health specialist with the UKPHR since 2006. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Global Health and Public Health at Aberdeen and Warwick Universities.
