As Heart of England Community Foundation’s Chief Operating Officer, I lead on maximising our operational efficiency for the benefit of our donors and, ultimately, the communities we serve.
I have over 15 years’ experience within the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector, with senior roles in grant making bodies, local authorities and VCSE organisations. Before joining the Foundation in 2026, I led delivery of Local Trust’s Big Local programme, a £200m national community-led grant programme, and prior to that held the roles of Deputy CEO at NAVCA, the national body for local VCSE infrastructure, and CEO of One Walsall, a West Midland’s based voluntary sector infrastructure organisation.
Outside of work, I enjoy long-distance mountain biking and hill walking in the UK’s national parks, often with my family, if I can persuade them
